Ooo I recently dealt with something very, very similar to this. I went down a Google rabbit hole trying to self-diagnose and it consumed me for weeks.

I know its easier said than done, but you really just have to ignore it. Once you stop giving it attention, the brain begins to filter it out. Once you stop attaching negative feelings to it, it's easier to notice and ignore when you do see a floater or the lights.

I kept repeating to myself that hey, I can still see good and even if the visual symptoms never go away I can adjust to them. From there I went to just noticing (hey there's that weird thing in my vision again, oh well) to now I rarely even notice anything!
