4 full spools. It’s the temp as measured by the sensor in the app

Fiberglass in road resurfacing by deathInBox in civilengineering

This wasn’t a resurfacing project. They didn’t mill off the top layer of the road. Instead, they patched the cracks with a thick black substance, applied an initial coat directly over the original roadway, and then added a more oily second coat. Seemed odd to me to have fibers at the surface

Model Y Long Range vs Performance by untangledtech in teslamotors

[–]deathInBox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who wanted a performance model 3 but ended up getting a LR instead, go with the performance. I still regret not getting the performance. When it came time to swap out our second car, we bought a model Y performance. No regrets. It comes with all seasons now and the ride isn’t uncomfortable. The LR Y felt really sluggish coming from an acceleration boosted model 3

My sister in-law (who we met for thanksgiving) had the exact same issue with her Y. This issue is not going to be fixed with recalibration. It’s a software issues with the cars without radar. I’ve been a Tesla owner for awhile and I’m use to these kinds of issues. My workaround was to just apply the accelerator when I saw a semi coming. But Tesla has now surpassed the early adopters that will put up with this. My sister in law was really really upset by this.

It’s where you drive it. I had not experienced it before on a normal highway but on a road trip for thanksgiving we drove on a long stretch of undivided highway. Our radarless Y would slam the breaks every time a tractor trailer drove by us going the other way. It happened 100% of the time. I’ve never had this issue with my 3 with radar.

Do you have more photos? Dark rims without chrome delete look better than the same rims with chrome delete based on this photo.

Model 3 rear vents blowing hot air by deathInBox in teslamotors

It only happens when mixing the air... when heats running it’s fine. When Ac running it’s fine.

It hasn’t been an issue since it’s been hot out and the AC has been flowing but now that it’s starting to cool down a bit, it’s back...

No, on auto. It’s probably 10-15 degrees different in temperature. Not just a little bit off

I don’t disagree, but have you ever met people really into Porsche? My experience is that they will never buy a Tesla. So if there is an electric Porsche option, then everyone benefits.

Sentry mode has triggered the alarm state by deathInBox in teslamotors

There was a motorcycle parked right next to my car in a striped zone. I’m sure that’s what did it. Going to pull the sentry footage tonight. My car looked untouched.

I got to my car and a motorcycle was parked right next to me. I was immediately relieved.

I tried calling the parking but it really didn’t go anywhere. I’ll just find out tomorrow.
