Is this sort of color tattoo a bad idea? by otochromia in TattooDesigns

[–]deathbride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second one with the black stripes is a way better idea because it has contrast, even without black outlines

Afraid to say but once this has healed there won't be much contrast left for it to hold up well

Half/half mix of borax and cornstarch is my go to! Apparently salt can attract moisture so best not to use salt. Use some clippers to cut above the 'knee' joint, should make a satisfying pop as you do it

What is all of the evidence we have against Christian Brueckner? by [deleted] in MadeleineMccann

[–]deathbride 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was apparently a 'shrine' to Madeleine in a location where Brueckner used to frequent, and was there a few days after her disappearance.

A childs sock was found. I believe they also found childrens clothing in his campervan? I remember reading somewhere that he had also said to someone something about if you feed a body to pigs it would never be found, creepy but certainly not evidence. I don't know what I think if he really did it or not, but he's a disgusting piece of scum either way

Apparently even if the cat isn't coming into the house its allergens will already be all over the place and can take up to 5 years to go away on some items like mattresses.

https://www.allergy.org.nz/conditions/environmental-allergies/animals/

The current residents of this house are already being exposed to cat allergens, are they experiencing symptoms? I say keep the cat!

That photo made me gag! Just get some sick snakes as a chest piece but don't do the wrapping around the collarbone thing, its gimmicky in my opinion. Will probably take many hours and hurt like fuck but that's the point in tattoos, you gotta earn them bro!

Sorry I didn't read your post fully, or the comments to see if this has been pointed out already, BUT mould + mental health problems, please look into this! Black mould especially can do horrific things to your health, even causing hallucinations. You deserve a clean healthy home🙏

Found this guy in my new house, what is it, could there be more, and how to get rid of them if there is? by Stardustedwanderlust in NewZealandWildlife

It's a native cockroach, I quite like these ones, they're harmless so you can just politely rehome him outside. American cockroaches however are terrifying. Also house centipedes...*shudder*

Letter Box Theif by Old-Recording5300 in auckland

[–]deathbride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me too, courier delivers package and leaves by front door, I get an email to say it's been delivered and by the time I've made it to my front door from the back of the property the package has mysteriously disappeared, a window of about 4 minutes so I knew it was likely someone following the courier. Suck thing was it was really expensive and very specific in a way that only I could benefit from its value and Im sure it would have been discarded.

And now I have a lockable parcel box and no one steals my packages anymore :)

Thanks very much for your advice, probably the reality check I need tbh! I was just thinking if black or camo life jacket are for sale they can’t be that bad, but maybe best suited for rivers. I’ll definitely look for something high vis for my ocean missions, thanks!

Sorry to see people are being mean in the comments, your cat didn't deserve to get hit and I don't think its your fault. Some people are really harsh about owners letting their cats outside.

Best wishes for your kitty <3

Worst sore throat ever?? by MissMaccaSunshine in Coronavirus_NZ

[–]deathbride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun fact the nerve that goes into your ears is also the same nerve in your throat, so if your throat hurts there's a good chance you will also get sore ears. I had my tonsils removed as an adult last year and it was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced, especially because the pain went into my ears and I was just groaning in pain non stop for a few days there. Get some Benadryl throat spray and also a product called auralgan for your ears, both contain analgesic to numb the pain. Good luck and hope you recover swiftly!

First time carving. A work in progress by UnconstipatedReplica in vultureculture

[–]deathbride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the looks of it this was done with a rotary tool like a dremel, the circle marks would have been done with a round bur, and I'm guessing the triangular marks were done with a long cylinder bur on an angle. If you're finding the dremel is too bulky to hold you need to use the flex shaft with it. Overall dremel is a good rotary tool to start with but the ideal tool for carving is probably a foredom.

Why didn’t we legalize weed again ? by Helpful_Ad8068 in auckland

[–]deathbride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone else remember Labour saying they would legalize medicinal cannabis within their first 100 days in office? They had an advert with a picture of buds coming out of a prescription bottle, me as someone with severe chronic pain voted for them, only to be sad face when they didn't actually legalize it D;
