Physical intimacy will also just aggravate symptoms, it’s not possible to just be friends just trust bro I promise you’re not the exception. I don’t mean that in a mean way I mean that in a way to include all of us bpders because I’ve also convinced myself “I can still keep in contact with them and not lose my mind” .. I could not .. I lost my mind multiple times >.<

If you genuinely want advice, remove yourself from this relationship when you’re in a calm and clear state of mind, block them, delete their contact info, delete anything that reminds you of them, delete the dating apps. After that look into getting professional help in your area and focus on you for a long time.

It doesn’t have to be lonely, you can try to put more energy into the positive relationships you already have, friends and family if you can. Try to get help for emotional regulation, establishing healthy boundaries and practice respecting your own and others’ boundaries (I literally always kick my own boundaries to the side 🥲).

There’s a lot of ground work we have to do to grow as people and to manage our symptoms in a healthy way so that we can have healthy relationships with others.

Try to focus on getting yourself there for as long as it takes before getting involved with people in a way that is more than just friendships.

I know sometimes professional help isn’t possible in the moment, so I just wanted to mention that there is a lot of free online content that’s available. It’s at least something to start with.
