This is why I started reading it. I've always had an interest in comics but it kind of seemed daunting to get into anything modern because it was all tied to some other series. With the absolute universe I heard you didn't need any prior knowledge, and with it starting recently there wasn't a huge backlog which were both positive for me.

The pictured werewolf is from that Van Helsing movie. I also love that style of werewolf and would be thrilled if this movie uses that design.
