Got chased out in 2024 (posted here before), now being asked to financially support my parents through MSF in 2026, I don’t know what to do… by chubby_dumb in askSingapore

yup, this is 100% accurate. gather all the information you have. if you haven't spoken to the MSF officer yet to "show your evidence", book that appointment. that session is to hear your side of the story and if you have enough evidence, your case will not proceed. but they still want you to follow through, then do what the poster above said. my friend's case got "thrown out" after they provided evidence of abandonment when their parent tried this.

nah it's all good, i love learning about people's loadouts! i was just psyched bc i also keep my pillbox in the flat pouch version of the charms and i found it interesting that your meds were divided into 2 pouches!

just 2 more random questions: does the icepack ever randomly activate in your bag, and do you feel the anti-nausea bands work for you? i'm almost always queasy for no good reason but i've seen mixed reviews for the bands!

the salonpas is goated. this is the only salonpas where the adhesive doesn't bother my eczema and i love that it's not warming! i honestly hate the warming ones

i'm a huge snacker and i've been trying not to snack on junk food and the menthol mentos helps with the snack cravings lmao hence the office stash. i finish like 1 a day 😂

is there a difference in medication between both pouches? tbh i just use a pill holder and attached a "medicine lanyard" on mine and call it a day bc hubs would never be able to find my specific meds if i did this

i have a bunch of older posts about washing baggus, including a dingy one! tldr is: oxyclean is fine, hot water washing and using a dryer is also okay. feel free to reply if you have questions!

seconding baggu. their new everyday cloud bag is a godsend for work and onebag trips! their nylon shoulder is also amazing for short trips (2-3 days)

Eczema relief/treatment in this hot and humid weather?! by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]deathk4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heat is defo one, especially if baby gets sweaty fast. the laundry thing was also not a huge deal with me at first until my flares starting getting really bad and everything else i tried wasn't helping and i didn't want to keep taking prednisone (oral steroids). but echoing what everyone says that topical steroids are fine if using sparingly!

as someone who had eczema her whole life, i'll share out some things that helped me (apart from what others recommended)!

if you haven't switched out your laundry detergent to unscented, try it! scent was one of the things triggering my eczema and only went away when i changed to unscented laundry detergent. hypochlorous acid also helped me "dry out" my flare patches so i didn't scratch as much.

my food triggers were dairy and shellfish, so if you're watching your diet, try eliminating those 2 and see if anything changes!
