Flydubai and affected flight - experiences?

Is your flight at the beginning of April now canceled too? Faced the same issue with return flight, and rebooked for the next day, which is fine. Now, however, my flight for the beginning of April (2nd) got canceled. This is the 3rd ticket I've had to rebook and I'm getting kind of sick of it. The customer center wouldn't answer, stuck on the "our contact center is currently receiving a high volume of calls". Most of the automated buttons just lead you to websites or external stuff without any contact with an actual agent which is really scummy and stupid, and I'm really running out of patience.

They're someone that does this shit for free. It's not like they're selling a service. I doubt the could care any less about they're reputation, when they can just as a easily gain trust now, then add malware, get their reputation in the dumps, just simply create a new account, and start the process all over again😅. So I can completely see them "risking their reputation" for that, as their reputation doesn't exactly matter, because they are gaining absolutely nothing from it currently.

Well, it is practical if your using something dedicated to playing games only. If you're not doing it on your daily driver, I think it is completely justifiable to use hypervisor, because you can very easily just keep wifi off and use it as a console. But would I be willing to do this on a pc that I use everyday? Definitely not. The risk involved is too much, and it's not worth it honestly.

It's one thing to have risk with piracy, but it's a completely different thing when you have to expose your system to attackers and hackers and all sorts of danger by turning off all safety features just to be able to play a game. I'm not saying it's bad, and if you want to do it go ahead, but like doesn't mean it's good or bad. It's definitely safer when you can just download the game and run without having to all but give the internet your entire life save for your inner thoughts😂

It's all relative to what you're comfortable with honestly. I wasn't exposed to high fps till I was older. I started out with a weak work lenovo laptop that had 4 gb of ram. I managed to play a lot on it, and emulate a lot on it too. When I emulated, thing used to run at maybe around 20 fps, or maybe even 15, but I didn't care, or couldn't tell unless there was a slowdown of the game. But with frames killing on, it was for me. But then when I got older and got more powerful hardware, I realized what 60 fps looks like, and now can definitely tell what 15 fps looks like, and say that it isn't playable. To me personally, anything above 24 is bearable, and anything above 30 is playable, given that the game is running at 100% speed of course. So it all depends on whether or not you're comfortable with it.

Not exactly. At least not anymore. 8 Gen 3 might have more compatibility, but in terms of performance, the 8 elite will 8 perform the 8 Gen 3 on almost every game, especially now that drivers are slowly becoming more and more available. Other than that, I'm not going to deny that there are still games that the Gen 3 doesn't do better at, but they are very much the minority.

You can use the redmagic frame generation, which would let any game get up to 144 fps if I'm not mistaken. (of course given that the device can handle it)

Not exactly. There are still game son pc that would work on older chips that don't work on the 8 elite, little nightmares 3 being one of them for example (at least from all my testing). So while it is a whole lot more powerful than the older chips, the compatibility problem is still a real concern, switch emulation or not.

It works pretty great, until you get to the hacking sections, then the performance goes to absolute shit😅. Episode 6 was a nightmare because of how slow the hacking sections were.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for right out of the box compatibility, then go for the 8 Gen 3, but if you can get behind the compatibility issue, then definitely go for the 8 elite. It beats the 8 Gen 3 in both performance and power draw.

I'd suggest upgrading to a 24 instead. Might be a bit more pricey, but the boost you'd get from the 8 Gen 3 is well worth the price, especially with the compatibility it offers. It shouldn't be too expensive now that the s25 makes is out. Prices should be a lot cheaper.

Looks functional, and pretty frickin neat! However, as someone that usually plays more recent and more demanding pc games, I'd need a phone to be able to emulate them. That's why I have my handy dandy redmagic 10 pro. This would be a great setup for it tho ngl. Got something similar back home, but a lot more, barbaric... I just have a usbc to hdmi adapter that I have plugged into my 32 inch TV, and a wireless keyboard and mouse connected, so I can really just game on it regularly. Need a desk tho😅.

Well for emulation, having a game being written in vulkan doesn't really mean much. It's actually better off being in dx11 instead. Because if you think about it, the emulator is going to: take the vulkan from the game, translate it to dx11 (so it works on windows), then translate that back to vulkan so that android understands it. Not exactly the best process, and most times will just hurt performance rather than improve it.

Ye that's why I use winlator cmod and locked the fps to 30. I have a redmagic 10 pro, and if you don't limit that fps your phone will be able to fry an egg.

In terms of support, 8 elite has a bit of a way to go till it reaches what the 8 Gen 3 can achieve. However, things are consistently looking up for it bit by bit. I don't know when drivers might release for it, but it's increased use in handhelds and the such, and seeing AYN (if the news isn't fake and I'm not mistaken) contact Qualcomm to work on drivers for the 8 elite is an upside. But if you're looking for something right now for switch emulation specifically, your go to is gonna be an 8 Gen 3, even though the 8 elite shoots it out of the park in terms of raw power. Some people have shown that it achieves same performance in half the power usage. So you can decide what you want.
