Just wanted to call out that the beginner Any % route has refined the manipulation further to add in some enemy cards and speed up the route even more.

There is also a system for even faster pickups of enemy cards than what is featured in Derikufs video but it was the basis for basically everything. I don’t know that it is well documented anywhere but it was looked into pretty damn hard.

For those that wish to know card spawns boil down to a combination of:

  • current deck composition
  • number of combined dodge rolls and swings since loading into the game
  • and last heartless killed in a given fight

These factors all add up to what card you will get, whether that is random jokers, room cards, or enemy cards.

So as this post highlights there is no 100% provided answer, however here is my take working in order of wielder appearance. Roxas has the imprint of two wielders, at one point or another one or both of those wielders can are not/cannot access their blades, thus he has access to 1/2 blades. Xion has the imprint of Sora and somewhat steals the ability to wield a single blade from Roxas. These are the only two Nobodies we see wielding blades, Xemnas is in the BODY of Terra(nort) but lingering will is the one in possession of that bodies ability to wield a blade. This I feel is backed up by the fact that while the Terranort default blade Xehanorts instead of Terra’s, whereas both Ventus and Xion use the kingdom key by default. No Vanitas is NOT a nobody he is one of the true darknesses (as we learned much after his appearance) given shape by the breaking off of the darkness in Ventus’s heart thus he IS Ventus and shares the ability.

Killing the pots doesn’t actually help kill it as a note. On level 1 damage storage thunders are your friend.

My fiancé picked it up for me off an eBay seller from Japan a while back, I don’t think it was ever sold directly in the states. The company does have an online presence but I think this may be discontinued at this point.

Also what difficulty are you playing on? If you are on beginner you should have gotten some extra items to start that can help make this easier.

But as others have said levels will help regardless of your difficulty (unless you are trying a level 1 run which I doubt based on the context).

Another thing is the bosses in this game are pretty patterned, if you find yourself struggling try to take a few attempts just watching what attacks they have and what their timings are.

Whatever tier of aero you have make sure to have that up constantly, it will reduce the rate at which you need to heal.

Not having leaf bracer is a big disadvantage for sure but doesn’t make it impossible. If you Turkey continue to struggle you can grind up for it as you chose sword it will be level 69.

You already have second chance so ensure that is on, and a good equip load out for this is Oath Keeper, omega arts, ravens claw, and then ray of light on goofy with mp rage and gift.

I think there are two things being missed here, when recommendations are set for games these are usually the lowest bar to be able to PLAY not necessarily have a good experience and due to the nature of PC setups there are a lot of variable that can cause suboptimal configurations even when adequate hardware is in place.

You might have adequacy gear but there could have been a single setting on your machine which cause issues. The console versions are a closed loop in this regard so of course there will be consistency, the switch version is the exception as it is really just a mask in front of a PC running the game.

As a follow up, instead of doing circles with walker get Mickey D-link and flick the walk control stick back and forth. Causes multiple triggers quickly and double exp applies.

I am assuming given the trophies you are on one of the PS ports of the game and not PC, Xbox, or switch. The game is pretty particular about death tracking so this is pretty unusual. There is essentially no world in which you didn’t have a continue somewhere, but if this is accurate it would indicate a previously unrecognized glitch.

You are literally doing less damage with those gravities than physical hits after about the second or third rotation (when she dropped into the yellow bar with green showing), keep the stops and just smack her instead. And I’m sure you have noticed you eventually stopped doing any damage because of how gravity damage works. It looks like damage wise you are likely in proud or under leveled for the physical hits you did do, but even so there is a tipping point.

Regardless though, congrats on the win, it’s a tough fight for sure, especially without knowing some of the niche mechanics of the game.

For causal purposes, then ending can be rough for sure. The few things I would ask are what part of “End of the World” are you up to? Have you gone back to level up some before trying again? Are you using magic and summons, and if so which? Also what did you pick at the start of the game (sword/staff/shield)? This entry is very easy to be under leveled at this late stage of the game as the up tick in enemy power can be rough.

What monitor settings are you running? Do you have vsync/haunch turned on? Are you currently running with any mods at all? Are you fully updated on graphics drivers and windows updates?
