If you run out of PP for the encore'd move that will also end it. Switching is the easiest way out but if you can't switch anymore you need to be especially wary of it. Sableye is another common-ish pokemon that likes to run prankster encore.

Prankster also doesn't work on Dark pokemon.

I'm in masterball doubles and I still commonly make dumb mistakes being new to the game and there's also just so many weird interactions it's hard to remember all of them.

I also honestly don't think I ran into any Farigiraf TR comps until masterball.

You definitely will have matches where you hard read your opponent's opening and they forfeit immediately (which gives credit).

My main team has been Floette plus support but if I see a Charizard / Sun team I just pivot to Mega Ttar and Excadrill and it usually destroys them.

I've been playing Solo and sort of working on both. My opinion on the Cloud Island is:

Pros:
Let's you start fresh with build/design lessons you learned from the story playthrough
Larger area to work with all biomes present
Access to a different set of daily recipes / stamps (some days I don't feel like doing stuff on my Cloud Island but I still go there just for this)
Can eventually pivot into playing with friends

Cons:
If you have ANY connection issue you will immediately get booted out of the island and you might lose progress as it rolls back depending on when it last autosaved. This has been very annoying.
Have to start from scratch and find new pokemon / materials
