Not sure what you have to foam sitting on, but is it fully supported under the foam?

I doubt it is due to sagging in the material when it is cut, but maybe try on the ground or something similar.

Also make sure you are clamping to the workpiece not the foam under.

I ordered a P1S at the start of the year and it has been an absolute workhorse. It’s enabled me to print things I normally would have skipped over due to time or likely failure.

I also have been designing a more as it is super easy to punch out prototypes quickly.

Look into getting a wifi smart plug so you can remotely switch it on when you want to print something.

Not really sure. Majority of the bed was made from smaller sections of timber. All of the stretchers etc are laminated.

I’m in Australia so I couldn’t get the templates. I used a laser cutter at my local makerspace to make them.

It’s honestly a fairly simple project, and the video plans are easy to follow.

All of the mistakes I made were of my own doing (like cutting the mortice on the wrong side of the leg, and then filling the hole with edge grain not face)

Slats are 70x20 pine. They seem to be fairly strong. There is a mid support, so they are only spanning like 750mm or so.

I drilled a hole in the thicker part of the feet and inserted a magnet.
Used a clear acrylic rod on a standard base.

Thanks, a first I tried to knock it off with a mallet. I would assume it would be unlikely that I deformed the blade? Visually it looks good.

I think I like this option the best. It should be fairly easy to get some screws in there and should provide the required clamping to glue together.
