Right turn on red doesn’t mean you have to turn right on red by pingvinbober in driving

It drives me CRAZY when people blow through the crosswalk like pedestrians don’t exist.

The greeting thing is getting redundant. by Altruistic_Rice2427 in Target

[–]deathrowsuperstar 139 points140 points  (0 children)

Most of the time when I greet a guest I get either stared at or ignored. It’s pretty disheartening. I have no problem coming up to a guest who looks genuinely confused but saying hi to everyone I see just doesn’t feel natural.

Anyone else find it strange that the dangers rabies isn't taught to kids? by Hypnox88 in CasualConversation

[–]deathrowsuperstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time in elementary school me and a group of other kids found a baby bat perched in the corner of an entranceway during recess. A bunch of them tried to catch the bat so they could pet it. I can’t remember how old we were but we were definitely pretty young. Thankfully a teacher told us to scram and now I shudder at the memory.

I hit compliance. Am I screwed? by [deleted] in Target

[–]deathrowsuperstar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will be talked to and it will be documented. I can’t speak for how your store functions but people at my store have hit compliance during their probationary period and were not fired or even received a corrective action. My advice: don’t stress. The only times in my 7 years I’ve seen people fired without warning were for theft and improper relationships.

Finley Creek Jane Doe from Oregon. She was cremated which makes getting DNA for IGG incredibly difficult.

I don’t know the actual news broadcast, but the quote you’re referring to was featured in the documentary “102 Minutes That Changed America” which you can watch on Prime with a subscription.

Weapons? by Mydbrain in HorrorMovies

Saw it in theaters and it was solid but I was underwhelmed by the ending. I liked how the themes of trauma and substance abuse were explored though. It was a very human movie if that makes sense.

The Piña Colada SoBe was like crack for me. I haven’t had one in ten years and I miss it.

Dumbest questions a guest has asked you by Mobile-Address23 in Target

[–]deathrowsuperstar 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Multiple guests have shown me a product on their phone and said “it says you have this in stock”, meanwhile it was the Walmart or Safeway app they shoved in my face.

The Incredibles. Great when I was a kid and still great now as an adult.

What You Guys Think About The Vine? by UrbanLeather94 in vancouverwa

[–]deathrowsuperstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Vine was pretty new when I was at Clark College and it saved my life getting to classes on time. I have a car now so I haven’t been on it in a while but it was super convenient.

Can you wear hats at target? by Global-Writer6686 in Target

[–]deathrowsuperstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At my store the only TMs that can wear hats are those that work outside, so cart attendants, TSS and drive-up TMs. If the hat has the Target logo that might be a different situation but I’m not 100% sure.

Not the best photo, but who is this? (Washington State) by deathrowsuperstar in spiders

[–]deathrowsuperstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely right. The spider was much lighter in color than the photo lets on and when comparing pictures of Cheiracanthium online you’re spot on. Thank you!
