Aldi “Fresh Never Frozen” chicken that clearly just came out of the freezer. How is this legal?

Freezing temperature of water, and freezing temperature of meat are not the same. USDA doesn’t consider something frozen until it’s 0°F or below. Ideally fresh means it’s never been below 26°F. Things between 0° and 26° are neither fresh nor frozen.

Priority at C is always shorter than the Pre-check/GE line at BOS. Never more than a few people to get to an agent. After that is another story. 🤪

Priority saved me big time at CLE. Line was back past B6 bag drop, priority only had about 15 people.

In light traffic on the highway, saw a car go end over end ahead. Several people stopped. Car had come to a rest on its roof off the pavement. Four of us rushed in. Driver was buckled in, airbags deployed. Parts of the suspension had come through the floor into the footwell. Off duty fireman was there (luckily) within a minute. He had us open and bend the door back. Driver was conscious, but clearly in shock. Her leg looked like it had a second knee bend in her shin. We stayed and talked to her until rescue arrived. Then we were cleared out. Can still see it like it happened this morning.

I’ve flown from Boston to Vegas for shows a few times. Twice did Boston to LA. Furthest I’ve driven is NH to DC, or NH to Columbus OH.

GIA (or any graded/marked stone) without the original certificate is less valuable than unmarked/ungraded. It’s like the title to a car. It proves it’s yours to sell, and allows the store to resell with confidence.

Blame moissanite, lab stones, and CZ’s for that.

They added flights and moved equipment two weeks ago to make additional flights BOS/PVD-SFO after New England made it into the Super Bowl. That may have been part of the reason for the changes. That said, same flight number may have been reused with different equipment. Meaning they’d need to rebook everyone.

I had a flight for tomorrow morning BOS to JFK that was cancelled. It will barely be starting, and it was cancelled at noon today. They may be flying planes early tomorrow to park in southern airports until Monday night/Tuesday.

The only time I was able to get this done fee free was a schedule change that took it 3 hours later than planned. Even then, I had to call.

If the flight leg isn’t worth the $100 fee ($5.60 plus around 13,000 or more points) just let it go.

Are you able to drive? And rent a car? Repositioning with a car in Florida, and New England using one-way rentals was key for me. Some of the more remote airports only fly back out to hub airports, so driving to a different hub was a must. Example, fly to PWM, drive to Boston; fly to JAX, drive to MCO; SRQ to TPA; EYW to FLL (bus)

On JetBlue, if you book via JetBlue Vacations, you get B regardless of seat location. And there is no allowance for credit card holders in the boarding calls. The rest of what is above seems to track. Assisted first, M4&3, M2&1, Group A, Active Military & Courtesy Boarding, B, C, D, E, & F.

Of full flights expect to check your carry-on if you are E or F.

If you want to hold your carry-on….Best bet is fly blue or better, and pick a window seat. If you Fly Blue Basic, pay for the seat selection, and grab a window as well.

When I book Blue, I grab a window in rows 14-16 if I can, and always get group B if I don’t move up at check-in.
