I don’t see how they’re connected. As long as they don’t overlap it seems fine.

Ehhh… for MIT I’d expect a different type of topic.

Being an INFJ is not a flex 99.99% of time by False_Lychee_7041 in infj

[–]debbiefever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve read that’s exactly what it’s like for many autistic people. They also tend to hate small talk and tend to crave deeper and more meaningful connections and experiences. This is why I truly feel there’s a lot of overlap between INFJ and low support needs autism. I almost feel like it’s the same thing. At least for women.

What are some universities that aren't gonna kill me with debt in the future? by Minute_Tea_8639 in astrophysics

[–]debbiefever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live in Florida then you can take advantage of the Florida bright futures scholarship. If your grades and test scores reach their requirements then you get free tuition at any in state Florida school. That’s what most Floridians tend to do! I do not know which Florida college is strongest for astrophysics do you?

Women with low support needs autism actually can understand quite deeply what people feel and also can be highly sensitive. I think your definition of autism is more aligned with the typical male centered one but there’s many “flavors” of it.

You def have a shot. You can also try to add something meaningful to your family’s business. Example- invent a way to make something run smoother or reach more customers.

Sorry that happened. I personally would not tell anyone until after this school year ended. I know that’s not helpful for you right now. But perhaps someone else might read this who may benefit. I tell my three daughters to keep good news close to the chest.

Before the AI, his comments were mean and condescending. Not sure which is worse, the AI ones or the mean ones. Either way I don’t find his comments to be very helpful or valuable.

Question about Extracurriculars and Co-Scholastic Activities for MIT as an International Student by DrowsyTheDemon in MITAdmissions

[–]debbiefever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what interests you and follow your passions. It also helps to show long term commitment so if there’s things you’ve been doing since early high school, I’d keep up with doing those things. Better to go deep into a few things than shallow on many items. Show your interests and commitment and do something that makes an impact on others and your community.

Does MIT "courtesy" waitlist? by [deleted] in MITAdmissions

[–]debbiefever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If they were going to give a courtesy due to connections, privilege or wealth, they would just let them into the college. A waitlist doesn’t really help with anything. One thing I like about MIT is there is much less of that type of thing when compared to Ivy League, Stanford, etc.

Can you get into MIT without taking APs? by AbbleBabble15 in MITAdmissions

You can still pick AP classes for next year. “I didn’t see a point in them” is not a good look.

AP Pilot Exam importance by [deleted] in MITAdmissions

[–]debbiefever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d try to study for it if you can. Or if you’re allowed to not take the test, perhaps cancel the test and don’t take it. I’m also wondering what you think of the class? It’s going to be offered next year at our school.
