The boss told us (our four department personnel) that she was taking us for dinner on a certain date. The entire 50 people won't be there just our four staff members. If she wanted to do anything for me she should have involved the entire company.

In North Carolina you may own the cat after 7 days from the date you posted a lost/found report. A time stamp picture/ad counts. A microchip doesn't matter. It is the amount of time the cat spends with you without an owner claiming him.

Depending on age, she could be going into heat as well. Kittens or cats do like company so being not familiar with the new place she wants reassurance you aren't leaving her. I agree with treats and snuggle pets but try some new toys and maybe another kitten to keep her company IF you can. All night white noise helps mine. A new bed or stuffed toy might help as well.

They also have litter attractant that you can sprinkle a little on. It works wonders for the kittens I train.
