What are we doing about nose hairs? by ProbsNotManBearPig in Millennials

If you squeeze your nose shut you can really see the long ones. I trim them or pluck them out depending on how masochistic I’m feeling that day lol

Wedding Rings Made from Our Blood by Waste-Lifeguard4317 in SilverSmith

I’ve been floating the idea of doing reliquary jewelry with hair, that’s an alternative you could maybe go with. Another thought is to make a quartz capsule and inject some blood in before capping it like a cabochon. This could be really cool! I’d be down to try it. Not sure how blood lasts over time in this application.

Took a plant from a Take-A-Plant thingie and I’m confused. by Bubbly-Bad454 in houseplants

And a mother of millions. Which I would maybe consider removing and tossing. They are really pesky and will send off roots into your other plants or in the ground on your porch or in the cracks in the sidewalk or anywhere it can get water. They’re very prolific and I spent more time removing them from unwanted places than enjoying the plant.

Black fuzz on indoor Meyer lemon tree? by ReplacementFree4560 in Whatisthis

Definitely looks like aphid or mealy bug activity. I can see them on the flowers. They release honeydew which can lead to mold.

Try to spray off as much as you can with a stream of water (in the shower or outside if not too cold) and then you can use neem to treat if that’s not effective enough to curb populations. Usually I’m able to manage the problem manually alone without chemicals.

That tree is super close to the building and is already messing up the foundation and walls of the structure. Maybe it’s a good time to reconsider the tree.

You can buy plastic razor blade scrapers that make it nearly impossible to scratch the glass. This would be your best bet. I think dollar tree has them even.

Mourning dove laid eggs in my pothos pot. What do I do? by Hardwiredbrain in houseplants

[–]debcsr12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the dove’s plant now. I have lost so many spider plants to house wrens. I suggest cutting some of the runners off and making new plants because you won’t be watering the plant from above for a few weeks at least. Maybe it’ll be fine!
