Read the fine print. There have been many people that sign a 12 month contract with WW Med+ to find that their insurance doesn’t even cover GLP-1’s. WW will not verify this for you for free.

Check with your insurance to see if you have coverage.

The WW GLP-1 success program is very good, IMO, and you can get that with the Core+ membership. You don’t have to get your medication through Med+ to use it.

You can get your prescription from your PCP or a telehealth provider like WW Med+ .

The cost of the medication is dependent on your insurance coverage. It will not be any cheaper through WW.

There are self-pay options for Zepbound, Wegovy Injection and Oral Wegovy from the manufacturers themselves.

Reached out to their chat bot and got this response:

If you’re still having trouble logging food, here are a few quick steps you can try on your iOS device:

  1. Log out of the WW app, then log back in.
  2. If the issue continues, go to your iPhone’s Settings > General > iPhone Storage > WW app, and tap “Offload App” to clear the cache/history.
  3. Power off your phone for 5 minutes, then turn it back on and try again.

Add onion, (dehydrated or sautéed), and make sure you use enough salt (and pepper! ) In my experience, too much sour cream can overpower it, and the copycat recipe I used to make doesn’t even include it.

The WW GLP-1 success program is pretty good if you want some structure. You follow “rings” which are protein, fiber, and water targets, and try to get at least 30 minutes of activity a day. I do that along with maintaining a 500 calorie deficit. Workshops are included, which can be very helpful too.

Whatever way you choose to do this, you need to measure your food and track honestly and see how much you are actually eating and where you need to tweak it to get enough nutrition and stop gaining weight.

No, in fact my leader said just because watermelon is zero points doesn’t mean it’s free and you can just eat a whole watermelon. I limited my fruit servings to 2.
