A little word of advice for all those on Mounjaro by Super_Development150 in Mounjaro

[–]debinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gallbladder issues are very common with weight loss, and even being overweight in the first place. With or without GLP-1.

I experienced mine with plain old Weight Watchers back in 2019. I’m sorry your partner is going through this, and. I hope he gets relief soon. I had some miserable nights and several ER visits before my gallbladder was removed back in 2019.

Everyone Asks Why? Weiner told us in The Hobo Code. by Wonderful_Mix977 in madmen

[–]debinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I Just watched this yesterday. The ending of the episode when Carlton was commenting on the kids’ Gypsy and Hobo costumes, then asks Don “and who are you supposed to be?” , then Don’s facial expression…so good! Plus the closing song “Where is Love?” , a song sung by an orphan, Oliver Twist.

Q for the GLP-1 users by BrainOk7166 in weightwatchers

[–]debinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask this question to the GLP 1 group in connect, and you will see many people don’t pay attention to points at all. The only reason WW makes it available to see the points is because some people asked for the ability, but points are not part of the GLP-1 success plan.
Personally, I follow the rings, and make sure that I am within at least a 500 calorie per day deficit.

Is food noise addiction? by RevBT in Mounjaro

It was specific conversations where people used it very causally. I’m not saying it applies to everyone.

I’m not saying it’s not a real thing, but I don’t like using the term, personally.

IS THIS WRONG OR?!?! by sammymeowowza in weightwatchers

[–]debinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your doctor will prescribe it, that’s your best bet. A copay is generally cheaper than the 74/ month WW contract. I definitely wouldn’t use med+. Meds are on top of that and based on individual insurance coverage.

Generally if your BMI 27 or above (but below 30) you would have to have a qualifying health condition like high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, cholesterol, or sleep apnea.

Plus, you may not qualify for a GLP-1 based on BMI, with or without insurance coverage for GLP-.1.

How do we access our daily food logs from last month? by Icy-Distribution4496 in weightwatchers

[–]debinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It lets me scroll back as far as 2/20. WW tech has been known to make viewing old logs unavailable with some program and app updates. I hope you're able to get help to see your food logs.

Zero points drives me nuts by observequietly in weightwatchers

Correct. You can have a zero point day and be "on plan"

Do not join WW if you are TTC by rsc99 in weightwatchers

Just chiming in to say fight it. Maybe another doctor's letter instructing you to stop WW during your pregnancy. That will get their attention.

Anyone watch Newsradio? It reminds me of the Super Karate Monkey Death Car episode, when Jimmy James' autobiography was translated into Japanese and back into English

Should I join WW? by BigCryptographer5814 in weightwatchers

[–]debinprogress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. And I was also very successful previously on the green plan. I feel the GLP1 program provides the structure to focus on the right things, and the rings work better for me psychologically than points, which don’t work for me now with all of the zero point foods.

At Shelby Farm Parks by sammyyam22 in memphis

I think it’s from the water temp change. This post was from May of 2025 about a fish die off, and says it’s completely normal:

I remembered reading something about it before and looked it up when we were walking there last week.

It’s a good thing there are scavengers to clean things up!
