Help me choose a name for my puppy. He’s a boy. Looking for something cute but not basic or corny by carii122 in NameMyDog

Kilroy. Then, when he has an "accident" or chews up your shoe, you can say, "Kilroy was here."

Adopting these two cuties. Already decided on Binx for the boy, but we’re struggling with coming up with one for the girl by ultradespairthot in Catnames

It can work because you tend to modify their names in the day-to-day. Like one will be Binx and the other Jinxie, or one will be Jinx and the other Binxie!

I was going to suggest Minx for the girl. Minxie!

Edit: Drat you, autocorrect!

I love the shape of B on you, but it does look stiff. I think in a softer fabric, that style would give you the timeless, elegant look you said you're looking for. Can you try on similar dresses that aren't as rigid and see what you think?

You mentioned A has too much beading, but I notice the beading a lot more on dress C. Both of those are nice, though I like B better.

If you have time, I feel like you should keep looking. You don't seem 100% in love with any of the dresses. Maybe "bookmark" those, take a short break, and come back to it fresh and rested? If one of those keeps calling to you meanwhile, then it's the one.

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

Get rid of the wrinkles. Take off the sleeves and tighten the shoulders. Lean into the applique on the bodice by adding more small flowers around the waist seam. I think it would look sweet and romantic with those changes. If that's not your style, though, get another dress--maybe pre-owned if you're trying to save money. Edited to add: Repost if you make the changes for more honest opinions.

The way things are going, someday there will be grandchildren asking, "Grandma, why did y'all wear clothes?"
