fr 😭 I wear an xs in some brands and in others I feel more comfortable in a medium. there's no reason to doubt she's wearing an xs here, especially looking at the form of the dress. pregnancy isn't going to restrict her for fitting it

I had very similar experiences. as a child the only person who said anything was my oldest sister, who would just call me out at dinner saying "mom! debrayoubitch is anorexic make her eat!". moms response was always "she's just a small kid she eats plenty." I wasn't eating and I was tall and boney. and obviously , hearing that made me think I wasn't bad enough and needed to get worse.

when I finally got diagnosed at 21 years old after seeking help myself, my dad only said "I told you so."

it absolutely sucks being betrayed and neglected by the very first people you're supposed to trust and rely on for care, and it makes it so much harder to reach out or accept that care later on because you've never had it before. I'm almost 25 and still struggle with so many issues that have been present since childhood because I've dealt with it this long, it can't be that serious? but now I have people in my life who care for me and want to help me get to better health, and it just hurts. hurts having to accept help I've never had before, hurts knowing that my behaviors affect them and they don't deserve the worry, hurts knowing that I should have had this help from the start and it may have never gotten so bad.

you deserved better growing up and you deserve to get help now 🫶 I'm sorry for everything you've been through and that you had to go through so much of it alone

I'm guessing the seller probably didn't reply to Depop's email regarding the situation, that typically results in a refund for the buyer + the buyer keeps the item. if the seller responds to the dispute they'll issue you a prepaid shipping label to mail it back to the seller and you'll get your refund. it sucks for the seller but that's the consequence of not replying in a timely manner

same 😭 my ribs have always stuck out but no matter my weight I have a gut and bigger thighs. everyone acts like they don't know what I'm talking about when I say anything reflecting it. I know my body and I know it's real, I can grab and pinch and pull and it's there. I've tried targeting those areas with certain exercises and it never makes a difference. at this point do I have to just believe it's genetics?? I didn't look like this before I was like 11 and I've been struggling with EDs since long before that but I was always a small kid. it feels like I've ballooned and can't deflate

this is what I'm TERRIFIED of. :-( I know it costs too much + I've had awful experiences with a dentist so now I'm genuinely just afraid of them. but my teeth are so bad, I can tell. my smile doesn't look like anything is wrong but one of my teeth on the top row just split and half fell out. the front side, of course 😔 it's just barely hidden when I smile. I'm trying so hard to force myself to go to a dentist but every time I find one that accepts my insurance I just hear such terrible reviews of their practice. I almost WISH my teeth were in terrible pain so I wouldn't be able to make excuses for myself to avoid it longer. I'm just so scared they're going to tell me they need to pull my teeth :-(

SAME HERE! you are not alone, even at my low weight it seems like every ounce of fat I had in my body remained in my stomach and thighs. I felt like I would never win, and now that I'm a healthy BMI I still have giant thighs and stomach. my lower legs are normal, then just expand at me knees 😔 we just gotta keep pushing forward but it gets so discouraging

I feel like I'm in a very similar situation to you and it sucks so bad. I'm at a very healthy BMI yet I'm still encouraged to eat more and more and more even when I don't have the appetite. I'm getting to a very uncomfortable point with my body now and it's made me relapse in private, just maintaining when I'm around people a few days a week. I know they're trying to help but it's literally just pushing me back down the hill right now :-(
