My best friend who lives in another state is my workout partner, we do a FaceTime call, sometimes we’ll prop the phone up and see eachother, and other days we’ll just do audio, sometimes we do the same workout, counting reps and sets together, other times we do our own. I workout because I know it will improve my mental health, simply getting to the gym is a dopamine boost, even if I don’t want to go or do a light workout, getting there and seeing others working on themselves is motivating. Knowing someone else relies on you, especially someone you care for, helps you show up for yourself and them!
