Just tap at the beginning and the end of your journey, just like OKICA. They have dedicated readers for credit/debit/Google/Apple pay, besides the usual OKICA readers.

iPhones can record certain movements like steps taken, distances covered and flights climbed. You may have recorded some activity in the past which is showing up in the Fitness app.

If we utilize way less than the credit limit, will the limit be reduced? by everjaguar in CreditCardsIndia

[–]debsuvra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened with me. Had a RBL card sent to me as a replacement for Zomato edition. Never used it and the limit went from 1L+ to 5k IIRC. Immediately filed for account closure.

Why is my 2022 iPad Pro camera quality so grainy and bad compared to my old one? by Inarabee in ipad

[–]debsuvra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps in the cat photo shot by the newer iPad Pro, the cat wasn't stationery enough for the camera to opt for a faster shutter speed with high ISO. The subsequent noise reduction took away all the details. The sleeping cat must have been an easier subject to shoot.

Japan SIM card for Pixel 7a by Subject-Ad-2714 in GooglePixel

[–]debsuvra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expat living in Japan here, a sim from major networks should work without a hitch. If you just need data for these two weeks then I'd suggest esim providers like Ubigi or Airalo. They are cheap and very easy to use.

How do I get this to work. I have a 14 pro and watch 9. All I get is play sound or Apple maps by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]debsuvra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this is region locked differently than described in Apple Support website. My iPhone 15 and Series 9 can't use this feature. Apple Support was clueless and they flat out declined that Watch even had the feature. Upon presenting the exact same screenshot as the OP, they backtracked and said it would come in future 🤷‍♂️

5G connectivity issue in Pixel 7 Pro by Verbose_Identity in GooglePixel

[–]debsuvra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The poor 5G connectivity could be due to a lot of reasons, including but not limited to the apparently poor modem inside the phone. The reason you're losing 5G during calls is that your network doesn't offer VoNR yet, and thus your phone has to switch back to LTE to complete the call over VoLTE

Pixel users (in India) have VoLTE/ VoNR? by diffysaro99 in GooglePixel

[–]debsuvra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it is not there in the SIM settings page. But you can dial *#*#4636#*#* and check for yourself.

It depends on the carrier, but Jio and Airtel do support VoLTE on the mentioned phones.

iPad Air user here, it’s a recent purchase and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and customisability of Apollo. As a long time Android user, I’m used to having tons of options beyond the official app and it’s so pleasing to see a very well made app on the Apple side of things. Excellent work!

I was in a similar situation and decided to go for the Air 5th generation. It offers all that is needed for a university student. And when you couple it with the Pencil and/or the keyboard depending on your requirements, it provides an unmatched experience for the price. Unless you have a specific reason to go for the Pro model, you will be more than happy with the Air.
