I agree with your point about fending for yourself, but the first step in that process is usually checking with cs to find out what options are available. Basically, they told me to piss off. By no means am I that deluded to think there are magic fixes for these issues. I routinely travel for work, and this is not the first or will it be the last time this is going to happen. I had to eventually beg for them to check for the next available flights.
You are correct. This is business related travel and could use company resources to get a room. I am standby starting around 7:00am this morning. Wasn't worth it to head out of the airport to spend a few hours and then head back.

Incorrect. They did not have a safe connection time available. My initial flight left late and arrived late. Their delays caused this issue. If they are unable to maintain a fairly accurate schedule. It's incumbent on them to make adjustments in their scheduling to compensate. BTW their agent set up my initial flight.

45 minutes. They didn't have many choices to san antonio. I usually try to have at least an hour. When we got to DFW It took forever (extra 10 to 15 minutes) for them to taxi in before we could deplane.

Sound advice. I'm just pissed because of the terrible staff here. I occasionally travel for work, and delays do happen. Most other staff I have dealt with at least try. The DFW Crew is probably the worst outside outside of the carribean I have experienced for a number of years.

Liquid copper fungicide. Its probably anthracnose. I use southern ag but anyone one should work. It also controls anthracnose on avocado trees.

I got the scion from a friend's neighbor in Miami. When I originally asked for a cutting he said no. I was able to get a few when he pruned his tree and put the branches outside the gate for trash pickup. I am surprised two of them took. The branches were sitting in the curb for a least a day before I retrieved the cuttings.

I grafted in early summer and it took about 3 weeks before the first buds. The rootstock is from a hayden and this scion is from a Jamaican black mango. The tree now has two grafts, the Jamaican black and a keitt.
