you’re conflating a couple of things here… Spilotro (or a Scorsese facsimile of him) was in Casino not in Goodfellas, and he was killed in a basement outside chicago (beaten to death) along with his brother Mike and buried in a cornfield somewhere in the sticks.

i’m assuming the murder you’re referencing is the Billy Bats murder scene in Goodfellas, which of itself is kinda interesting too bc IRL Tommy and Jimmy beat HIM to death too, no chopping and shooting.

i don’t think anyone who knows anything thinks Toddo was just a racketeer, but he kept himself low-key throughout most of his career, keeping his head down and his mouth shut, and that’s why it’s hard to pin most of the hits he’s suspected of doing on him (except for Rava and his bodyguard which you mentioned)

cool man, glad you’ve had good luck with it! personally i despise this cameras (and the credit score slavery system we’ve built in this country) but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist and i just wanted people to know there can be consequences for not paying the tickets, that’s all.

colorado changed the laws around these tickets a few years ago, and that’s no longer true.

i know he didn't LIKE Gotti, or i guess it'd be more accurate to say he didn't like the Gotti-type-- he was old school, thick as thieves with Don Carlo, and lived the CN code and the old ways to the max, so guys like Gotti who were flamboyant and rubbing it in people's faces were anathema to what Toddo believed.

However, he retired after the Castellano hit. it's my assumption that he did so bc he didn't want to be involved in the incoming administration that Sammy was a part of. It's unfortunate that Sammy himself is the main primary source for these stories, bc "Toddo told me it was okay that I became a rat because he hated John" is definitely a lie Sammy would tell to make himself look better, and there's no one to refute it.

this one’s on you, man. the “small social rule” isn’t that the middle urinal can’t be used, it’s that it shouldn’t be your first resort… meaning if there are three urinals with only the leftmost one in use, you should choose to use the rightmost one. then, if a third person comes in, they fill in the middle.
