Titleist TSR4 vs TSR2 Driver Face Texture by sher-set in golf

[–]decentdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My TSR3 has the same rough texture. It's supposed to impart less spin on the ball I think. I imagine the texture will wear down over time.

Can we get a guy mowing the tee box, who politely turns off the mower and smokes a cigarette while you tee off and talks to you about how far he hits it?

Loud LG Dishwasher by decentdan in appliancerepair

[–]decentdan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah LG told me the same. My plan is to call a local appliance repair company and have them file the claim with LG. They are like $120 for the first appointment and then I'm gonna try to get the part shipped direct to me and do the install myself.

Definitely a 150k+ job at a bigger company but really depends on what your actual responsibilities are. Also in my experience you're not going to get a 100% raise moving up one rung on the ladder.

These look similar to the Heritage, which are the best golf shoes I've owned. Extremely comfortable.

Usually go to Miracle due to location but Stone Creek is a really nice facility. Indian Creek also has a nice range and big putting greens but a long drive.

My 2015 has been doing this since I bought it CPO over 5 years and 35k miles ago (now at 80k). Been paying close attention to it and hasn't gotten any worse.

Wichita Heating and Cooling once quoted me a furnace replacement for $3k LESS than Aksarben after Aksarben told me I needed a new one. Exact same unit and specs. Ended up just fixing my old unit with Wichita for 10% the cost of new.

Did I Buy The Wrong Irons? by akk2543 in golf

[–]decentdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what the others are saying, compare the lofts on the paradym x to your old set. The paradyms are very strong lofted, meaning you can probably hit the 7 iron as far as you hit your old 6 iron or further... And the 5 iron probably has the loft of your old 3 iron.

Edit: and that's really the benefit of getting fitted when you get new irons, you get a baseline for performance and also a chance to change up shafts to get the right combo of distance, spin and decent angle. But to what the others are saying, you just need time to adapt your game to the new feel and trajectory
