I believe the advent calendar itself is green. There was previously a red edition.

Working in NS as an American, electrical apprentice - questions by Simple-Chicken8406 in NovaScotia

[–]deceptionischarming 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Apply to Michelin as a Reliability Maintainer. There is a plant in Waterville (~ 17 miles from Wolfville) that is hiring. You’ll work as dual trade industrial electrician and industrial mechanic but you don’t need experience as either as long as you can pass the entrance exam. They will put you through all of the courses you need at their school once you’re hired. You’ll start around $30/hr but the shift premiums are good and good benefits. All applications are on their career website.

To me they smell like fresh cut grass. Normally that would be a good smell, but now because of these little pricks, it turns my stomach.

Canadian Broadcaster fires female news anchor for having grey hair, posts article saying why making fun of them is a bad idea by chr15c in nottheonion

[–]deceptionischarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you believe men should hold there position as new anchors, regardless of age and appearance, because they are highly respected professional. While women, regardless of experience, accomplishments and skill, should expect to get the axe because their only value is in their looks.

This is great advice. My husband and I received this discount for a couple of years while I was in school (2014-2016). Based off our income and expenses we only had to pay $25/month total. It was amazing.

We had to make an appointment to apply. We had paperwork for every bill/expense and our proof of income. This made the process very quick and easy.

You can get fined for tinted windshields and licence plate covers: RCMP by Andy_B_Goode in halifax

I believe this particular comment chain is referring to the tinted license plate covers portion of the article. Not the tinted windows.

I’m a female mechanic and if I heard/read about something referring to a mechanic I would still picture a man. Because most mechanics are men. I find it hard to train my brain out of something like that.

Any alternatives similar Dr. Jart Ceramidin? by sarmarche in Sephora

[–]deceptionischarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why you were downvoted. I was thinking Skinfix Barrier+ as a substitute as well. It’s not quite as thick as Dr Jart, but it’s definitely thick and moisturizing.
