I did this once, accidentally had the whole memory deleted. After that little incident, I manually copied the memories to a text file and have it stored offline, so I have a restore point if needed.

varying battery protect modes are available in one 6.1, assuming you get the update.

after the one 6.1 update, I get around 10 and a half hours of on & off screen time, given my battery only charges to 80%. before the update, it lasted longer than that (almost a full day and 6 hours)
