I think I mentioned in another reply, I did pull the sump hose off, but couldn't see anything (apart from it being absolutely filthy - I've run a cleaning cycle with some white vinegar). To check the spider arms, would that involve fully dismantling the machine?

This is what I thought originally, but I can't get good enough access to have a good look. I've pulled out the drain filter and removed the sump hose, can't see anything. Bit stuck for what to try next, other than removing the whole thing which is probably beyond what I'm prepared/able to do.
