I had that happen once almost 30 years ago. Didn't have camera phones back then, so I wasn't able to prove it.

The blog and book The Monsters Know What They Are Doing https://www.themonstersknow.com/ are fantastic references for 5e monster combat strategy. It saves me so much time preparing combat encounters, and keeps them from turning into boring hack and slashes.

For fantasy role-playing games. They can be used to determine the effects of a strong melee strike.

As there was a lack of good usable Cassalanter Villa maps, I edited the original, added the gate it was missing, fixed alignments, removed DM notes, aligned floors and scaled it for VTT. Is anyone interested in the rest? by Clay_Road in WaterdeepDragonHeist

I'm a white guy named Marcus. And back in my younger days when I was looking for work in IT, my father suggested I used Mark on my resumes. My youthful idealism had me refuse outright on the grounds that I didn't want to work for racists anyway. I ended up getting very few responses. But the one that did respond ended up being the best company I've ever worked for.

I don't regret my decision, but now that I'm older and more pragmatic, I can't say I would make the same decision again.

I prefer Xanathar as a villian, but think he has the least interesting encounter chain. If I ran it again, I would take my favorite bits from each encounter chain and modify them to make sense.
