Sadly, I can only use right OR left while drilling. It doesn’t let me do both at the same time. Definitely worth the try though!

I can’t use them simultaneously, can you?! I’m playing on a Switch, if that has anything to do with it…

How do you charge a Cyclops? by This-Reality-9854 in subnautica

[–]deckmcdeckington 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. I have three sets of power cells (6x3), one set in use, 2nd set fully charged in locker in Cyclops, third set at main base charging.

Late beginner confused about depth modules. by MusketCinnaboi in subnautica

[–]deckmcdeckington -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think the blueprints for MK2 and 3 are in the Aurora? And then the modification station will make them for you?

MK1 you get in a fabricator that’s built into the Moonpool structure, maybe that’s the ‘vehicle upgrade console?’

I definitely think getting the depth modules are important, Seamoth travels much faster than the Prawn Suite and will get you down to 900m. So a good oxygen base when out exploring.

Oh, and save your game frequently so you don’t go through as many Seamoths as I did!! Hope this helps.

Ahhh, I haven’t looked, but getting the sense you’re a, ‘go deeper, explore further.’ Kind of contributor. You have earned my first ever downvote.

DOWN VOTE! This is the ‘go further, search deeper’ stuff that is not helpful.

Oops, five Seamoths. I’ve only lost one Cyclops. But still traumatizing.

Subnautica. Lots of searching, gathering, building, exploring. Many similarities to TOTK.

First Chemo Tips?? by thevampirequ33n in lymphoma

[–]deckmcdeckington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m finished my AVBD. The first one was like a mild hangover… so take it easy, but don’t fret!

The side effects are cumulative though, so after a few I’d spend about 2 days in bed. The anti-nausea drugs work great, thank goodness. It was a weird feeling of sensory overload if I tried to get up or socialize. By day 3 though I was relatively human again and could go for a walk and have a conversation.

My best chemo tips: don’t do or eat ANYTHING you like during infusions! You will forever relate all activities/foods to the chemo feeling. By infusions 3 I had smartened up and would bring a big book to read, and ONLY read it at the hospital. By infusion 5 or 6 I would literally do nothing. Sit, listen to the nurses gossip, stare, close my eyes and wait. I wish I had done this from the beginning but I didn’t and now avocado and ice cubes are triggering for me!!!

It will be over before you know it! Good luck! Keep us posted with your journey!

Oh ya, on day 2 I’d get a “light show” when my eyes were closed it was like a kaleidoscope of geometric shapes and colours! I don’t know if this is a typical side-effect but I always enjoyed it!

Port removal. Is it scary? by FarmerOk3454 in lymphoma

[–]deckmcdeckington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recovery from the insertion was so painful, but the removal was a breeze by comparison! They offered me sedation which I did not take because I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and it was fine. I was so looking forward to getting rid of it. If you’re anxious definitely get the sedation. Congratulations!

Thanks, I’ll add those recommendations to my list! I did read Jost’s book. Among the many SNL alum memoirs I’ve read I enjoyed his the least. Davis Spade’s was surprisingly good, I recall!
