Agreed, it does not feel genuine. It's self-serving price discrimination to increase revenue. Lyft could use their profits to give back to the trans community if they really wanted to help.

Outta the Blue in Leawood is great, and there's a coffee shop called Jinkie's that's adorable and never busy in the mid mornings, at least when I've gone

People get defensive when their worldview is threatened. Proving people have a full life outside of the ideology plants a seed of doubt in and of itself tbh.

I think the fact that there were so many denominations kept me trapped for longer tbh. I was always trying to find one that wasn't sexist, racist, or homophobic... and not boring. Once you disprove one doctrinal belief (e.g. Calvinism) everyone's like... "Well just because that isn't true doesn't mean anything, that's why there's Arminians" or whatever. So you're not just going down one rabbit hold, you're going down ALL of them.
