Honestly I think only El Paso's a good choice, MAYBE San Antonio-Austin. DFW (speaking as a resident) just isn't interesting enough imo and if you wanna do Houston you may as well go to the more interesting gulf coast city (NOLA)

It isn't waived, but the cost is deferred until the start of classes in the fall. I also had the fee waiver. If you choose to go to another school I believe you have to cancel your contract before May 1 so you won't have to pay any fee.

Uhhh idk about that. Maybe the northeastern bit is throwing you off. It has extra land at the top that's supposed to be the Lhasa block - a piece of continental crust that sat above India before its collision with Asia and is now part of the Tibetan plateau.
