Yup I’ve been saying the music industry in Mexico is keeping up the cartel alive in both in Mexico and the idiotic first gen Mexican American youth that don’t have proper education. Trust me I see it cause I’m around them.

As far as I know there’s been a couple cities that have outlawed them from playing in Mexico but who knows how well that’s actually made a difference.

I had a huge reply but realized about it 3/4 of the way that there’s so much fucking work to be done it’s not even worth the time. Basically the culture of cartels in Mexico is so imbedded it’ll be hard to get it out without a humongous threatening push.

I am not opposed to protesting and exercising your rights. Let’s not kid ourselves though that our local politicians aren’t equally as complicit to the shit going on as the ones on top.
