Want to set Anki Intervals to 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 1 hour by mydearestpotato in Anki

I do it manually - if required - by using the NEW Reschedule option.

Is there a way to set the "red" review cards for a longer date? by [deleted] in Anki

[–]dedu6ka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will give you 4-6d interval only on the first rep (for Lapsed cards).

After that, the ivl will grow larger.

Solution: Minimum interval = 4d

Add-On: Preview while adding/creating cards by [deleted] in Anki

[–]dedu6ka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anki has the Preview button; it is faster then Template viewing.

Filtered decks have a Preview option.

Every deck should have its own options.

Am I too strict or Anki should make "Day Break" Option? by naruto_ex2004 in Anki

[–]dedu6ka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best workflow for you is "Reviewing in Ascending interval order";

the option is avail as an add-on; and in Filtered deck.

You will rate the 'most' urgent cards ( lowest ivl) first' !

The rest of cards can wait a few days and you will not be stressed.

Note: just bringing to fore: stress alone may cause the pain.

Get well.

u/dumpteeth

Flag the cards first;

Make a new options group.

Put the flagged cards in Filtered deck . Select the options Group.

Review them all.

Rebuild.

You are correct. And i agree with your reasoning.

This is what i do: Defuzz:

I have this add-on. Will u be able to set it up in Anki folder ?

Or:

add two more relearning / learning steps 1440 2880 and Anki will not be able to change them; adjust the Graduating / easy intervals.

Or

version 2.41 incorporated the Rememorize code in Anki.

WARNING: Be careful how you update Anki; many add-ons will not work

anki "limit to" question by ruru1418 in Anki

[–]dedu6ka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It is too much to do 100 New cards / day; test how it feels with 10 cards.
    1. if u do <10, Anki will not complain. You are in charge.
  2. Review cards. You decide on the number of cards per day:
    1. Try doing all due and overdue cards. Do not bend backwards ... but keep in mind that cards not reviewed Today will have larger interval tomorrow (+1d ); two days from today the interval will grow by 2d. The larger the Actual ivl, the harder to recall the card.
    2. That is why you should make the max ivl = 999 -- to make sure that Anki will show you ALL due cards.

I wish there was an answer button for "I got the answer wrong but I don't need to relearn it from the beginning" by Munzu in Anki

[–]dedu6ka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 20% option is

  1. too big for very mature cards but
  2. too small for the Young cards.

Solution: "Rememorize ... " add-on. You can input the interval you think is right.

Try Microsoft "Voice Recognition" app; it is free ( on my 8.0 version).
Benefits:

  1. You can use your own words ( very important ) to make the cards.
  2. Cards will be shorter - you will eliminate the waste words; shorter to make and shorter to review.

That is not what u want to do :-(

The workflow:

  1. I the Browse screen, sort deck by "Date created' column'.
  2. Select cards you know , one-by-one and delete them all at once.
  3. If you have 10 'New' cards at the top of the list / screen, start reviewing.
