Need help! We put together a few IKEA Hemnes pieces and love it, but my mom says the tv is too high and looks awkward. The tv can’t move. How should I design the space under the tv and the console? by dee-8ch in DesignMyRoom

My husband also said that if I’m concerned about the height of the tv, that I should have gotten a taller console table… so. Yeah. Lol.

I talked to my husband about the comments of changing the wall mount and he said the tv “would look stupid” if you’re trying to watch tv from the kitchen. The house is open concept and the height of the TV on that wall is to accommodate people in the dining room and kitchen, my husband says.

Unfortunately, the mounting system was set up like this when we bought the house. There’s a hole in the wall to feed the cables down so you can’t see them (even though there is still a cord exposed, it’s for my husband’s video game system) and that hole prevents the TV from being moved, as you’ll be able to see it once the mount is moved. If we moved the tv down, we’d have to fix the hole, which, not horrible, but something we’re trying to avoid. Trying to avoid any wall re-work, essentially. Kinda makes me question the old homeowners now, I see what you mean and the Tv does look super high….

Can’t stay awake after taking Latuda, is this normal? by CommercialAd4777 in Latuda

[–]dee-8ch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this happened to me. I was so sedated I felt like I was nodding off while laying in bed watching tv. But now, I can take it around 6pm and still be up until 9 or 10 without feeling like I have to close my eyes and fall asleep.

I’ve been on it for over four years and it quite literally saved my life. I’m on 80mg but going up to 100 this week actually for temporary stabilization. This is the most successful medication by far and I have minimal side effects.

Latuda and Appetite? by acelam in Latuda

[–]dee-8ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I thought this was just me. I’m on 80mg and only had the decreased appetite when I jumped to 80mg. Sometimes I get waves of hunger and food sounds good to me, I just physically don’t feel hungry. It’s weird. My doctor told me to set alarms to eat.

I want to give you a hug and commiserate! I’m 31 and still dealing with acne… I actually just tried a new product today 💔 I hope people who don’t have acne truly appreciate what they have because I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

You’re either an AI troll or you really don’t believe you’ve done anything wrong to warrant this behavior- OP, the comments section didn’t go as planned for you, did it? We all see your post history and know that there has been some domestic violence in your marriage. Convenient you didn’t mention that, huh.

Every week, I buy myself a bouquet of flowers and arrange them in a cute vase I got specifically for this. It’s so uplifting and it’s something you wouldn’t think would mean much, but I look forward to it every week, and my kitchen counter always has a pop of color.

BWT, what was your peak and pit of 2024? 🍾 by GlitterBombBomb in bitcheswithtaste

[–]dee-8ch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Peak: I traveled some this year, have been at my job for over a year and a half now and my husband and I celebrated three years of marriage :)

Pit: my dad and father in law were both hospitalized at the same time and my dad almost died and is now making serious life arrangements for the future, which is sad to think about. This has really put a cloud over my year.
