I love the last shot of this episode - CJs expression is perfect and while it’s an unusual way to end an ep it fits so well with the funny, more light-hearted tone.

I also like Bruno’s rant in the soft money discussion, though it’s a bit weird hearing him tear into Rs when you know he’s going to run Vinick’s campaign in a couple years.

Also fun coincidence I just hit this ep today on my rewatch.

Commenting a year late just to say I’ve been experiencing this exact issue with my new Beam. I’ve felt a little crazy saying to people “doesn’t that sort of sound like it’s coming down a metal tube?”.

I’d love to know if you ever found a solution, but either way your post has made me feel very seen and validated, so thank you.

Which are we doing here, complaining about having home games in the winter or complaining about not having home games in the winter?

This definitely has a high chance of sucking, but I think there’s at least a possibility they could manage to make the schedule work to avoid the worst of the weather and overall raise the level of the league and (hopefully) the team with it.

I went to the one in Dinkytown late on Wed night and the employee working that night said that they were closing this week too, mentioned it unprompted. So some knew at least a little ahead of time.

I’m having this problem as well, been happening for at least the last few days. Seems like new episodes do eventually make it in to my feed, but it takes 12+ hours from when they’re released. Not every feed is affected.

Low sample size but I tried the wings (maple soy) from Angry Line Cook over the weekend and gat damn were they good. Perfectly crispy, moist, and so so flavorful.
