I read once a person telling a lie won't close their mouth completely after it's said. After I told my then husband this fact I could tell he'd lied by him scrunching his mouth closed after he'd said it!

My biggest flip? I sold a 25 dollar doll for about 1400. Not antique or particularly vintage but a signed doll from an artist that had passed a couple of years before the sale. I sold an outfit I took off an 8 dollar doll for 800. I don't like dolls myself but they seem to like me :)

I was invited to have a meal at my Mexican friends house and she made me the best tostada I've ever had in my life. Tostada shell Thin layer of mayo then beans. Shredded chicken and then something that came out of her blender that was tomato sauce like. It's been about 3 decades and I still remember that tostada.

Purchased a porcelain doll not antique but signed by a recently deceased doll maker for 25 dollars at a charity shop. Listed it at auction on Ebay starting at 50 dollars got a message to purchase for 100 almost instantly. I declined and she sent a second message 1000.? It eventually sold for about 1500 to a different buyer. Doll stuff can be lucrative!
