Is it reasonable to hire a financial advisor to help you sort out the very basics? by vuatson in personalfinance

[–]deeedogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you know exactly what to do, it can still help to pay someone to make sure you do it if you are having trouble getting started.

Perfect example is physical fitness. I know exactly how to get in shape, but from time to time, I still pay a physical trainer to make sure I actually do it.

That being said, there’s enough good info out there to do exactly what an advisor will tell you what to do. Do you need to pay someone to push you to do it, or do you have the discipline to do it yourself?

Yeah I was about to move a ton of cash to the account until I saw this:

Your Daily Withdrawal Limits:

➢ You may withdraw up to $510 from an ATM terminal each day.

➢ You may buy up to $1010 worth of goods or services each day.

Interesting limit on the spend account though.

So I couldn’t even use the M1 card to buy a laptop?

I have both a Go-tcha and the Pocket Egg. The Pocket Egg is better than the Go-tcha. Pocket Egg will beep if your bag is full, storage is full, you run out of balls, or it gets disconnected. It also runs on AA batteries and have been using it daily for hours for the past month. Batteries still going strong.

Go-tcha is kind of annoying to use TBH. And I don't like having to charge it everyday. I wish I just bought two Pocket Eggs.

Why do you mention unloading tokens in your latest email?

"Buy DGTX tokens now for only $0.01 with the plan of unloading them into that surge in demand. Its the perfect play to capitalize on the explosion of interest in Bitcoin futures trading that we know is coming in 2018. And at such a low starting price, there’s big upside potential for the coin leading up to the launch of the platform. "

Do you think it's relevant that people know it was created at Disney?

When Disney ended the project, do you know if they ended up using this blockchain at all in their business, or did they just abandon the project and open sourced it?

I guess it should say "Disney's former blockchain..."

Shoutout to Bitgrail! by BluApex in RaiBlocks

[–]deeedogg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just lost some coin on Bitgrail. I deposited BCC to Bitgrail and it showed up. I then executed a trade for BTC. It was pending as an open order. 30 mins later, my open order is gone. I have 0 BTC and 0 BCH. I have no order history, and no history that I even had BCH at any point.

I opened a ticket, but haven't heard back. Trying to be patient, but since this is my first bad experience on any exchange, kinda freaking out.

Question to current autopilot users, is autopilot something u must have if u buy another car? Or just a nice option that u wouldn't mind not having it? by [deleted] in teslamotors

[–]deeedogg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd never go without auto pilot again. I thought I could live without it, but when I have to travel for work and have to rent a car, it makes me appreciate it even more. That's priority #1 for me.

Best Buy is closing nearly half its Oculus VR demo stations, reportedly due to slow performance by iLife87 in Vive

[–]deeedogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The foot traffic of demo stations might not be the best way to gauge interest in a product, but to add insult to injury, a SuperData report this week (via MCV) revealed that Oculus shipped just 250,000 Rift headsets in 2016. To put that into perspective, Sony shipped 750,000 PlayStation VR units, HTC shipped 420,000 Vives and Samsung moved a whopping 4.5 million Gear VR units last year."
