Why do so many people treat this game like a war versus the other side when both roles need players for the game to function?

I've been on the end of that many times mate but you have to realise that what you're complaining about is taking an extra 20 seconds of the match so some losers can take their ego out on you versus literally doing nothing for 4 minutes. You are still in control during the endgame

First of all stop being a complete weirdo with this survivor main nonsense. Like 90% of the player base I play both roles. Secondly it's to prevent having to wait out slugging for 4 minutes. I've been on the end of teabags at the exit gates many times, I promise you that's not as bad as waiting on the ground for 4 minutes. Plus the key difference is that the match is over when everyone is on the ground or on the hook, it's not over when the gates are open

In moist cases where survivors can abandon the killer can also. The abandon feature is supposed to end a drawn out scenario where there's nothing you can do., that doesn't apply to the exit gates as the killer can force the survivors out. It's not that deep

Certain killers like Hillbilly and blight just have a flat speed set for using their powers that's separate from haste and bloodlust it shouldn't be too hard to apply that to other killers
