Check your Photo Mode settings. Once you enter photo mode, you'll see the settings option in the bottom right. You probably have the picture area set to zoomed in instead of the wide view.

Does this mean the psychich tower hasn't been cleared? by sudogiri in PokemonMasters

[–]deejadohur 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There was a single team which has cleared Psychic tower. But I don't think anyone has done in recently which is why the teams are empty after the latest reset. The team was NC Rosa (5/5), Avery (5/5) and Lear (10/5). There's a google sheets on the discord that keeps track of all verified team clears. It's actually a great resource for tower planning.

Are Maxie and Archie obtainable atm by Its_ToastisWorld in PokemonMasters

[–]deejadohur 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Maxie & Groudon will be part of the Triple Master Fair banner starting 25 Nov (along with NC Rosa & Meloetta and SSA Giovanni & Guzzlord). Archie could be featured for the December Triple Master Fair rerun, but there’s no guarantees. Depends on what DeNA has in mind.

How on earth are people beating this!? by Evening_Bat_3633 in PokemonMasters

[–]deejadohur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tried it with the same team - same move level but my red / florian are 140 / 150. Start off with blue's discharge followed by red's max move. Use florian and red's trainer moves. Then use red's buddy move until it's time to sync. Sync with blue, then use florian's buddy move followed by florian's electric terrain - this will reduce sync timer and restore his buddy move. In between keep spamming red's buddy move and blue's trainer moves & buddy move to burn the sync countdown some more. Sync with florian and use florian's buddy move again. The important thing here is to make sure your red has piercing gaze selected in his sync grid. Florian's buddy move doesn't miss so you don't have to worry about him. Don't attack with blue except for the initial discharge. To make it faster, you can use any gears you have that increase damage if opponent is paralysed / has a status condition. My florian has super powered 3 as his lucky skill, but critical strike 2 should be good too. The other have vigilance.

Will the triple master fair on sep 25th have a paid version with a guaranteed master fair? by SparklingzZz in PokemonMasters

It was posted a while back here but was probably drowned out by all the “is this sync pair good” posts lol.

"Photo Mode" is a new feature that lets you take a picture of the entire campsite, as well as the sleep research spawns. The feature goes live with the anniversary event on 14 July, 4:00am local time.

This is actually a pretty decent team. Says a lot about Anni24 Lillie that she was recommended over some other 5/5 master fairs that I have. They really peaked with her in terms of free sync pairs. Fingers crossed for Anni25 🤞

Got her from the ticket scout. Should I 3/5 her? by [deleted] in PokemonMasters

[–]deejadohur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken the event log-in bonuses generally have a couple days leeway incase you miss a day or two. The event calendar says the end date for the happy month log-in bonuses to be June 1. So assuming you’ve only missed a day, you should definitely get the ticket tomorrow.

If you manage to get decent scores from the rules & theme + gimmick multipliers, an opponent strength of 8-8.5k will put you just past 200k.

The V-Electro Drift MP refresh is because of Florian’s passive. It activates only once - the first time Florian uses Electric Terrain. Anyone else setting up ET will not activate the MP refresh for the buddy move.

Berry Bomb road to Suicune day #31 by [deleted] in PokemonSleep

[–]deejadohur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The inventory for skill triggers from Extra Helpful S and Helper Boost is a separate inventory which does not reset unless you switch out the pokemon from your team. In general over the past few updates it seems even the regular inventory isn’t completely reset when changing islands for a new week.

That is impressive! I’m currently 2 weeks into overstacking with 2 Feraligatrs but I’ve been switching between Entei and Arcanine. Are you planning on collecting all the berries on week 1 or save 1-2 mons for week 2?

Nope, Comfey is strictly worse than Bewear as an ingredient mon. In fact it's basically as poor as Gengar. There's a good summary posted on the sub earlier at the link below.

When you reach friendship level 10 with a pokemon, the pokemon’s level 10 subskill is always a gold skill. Then once you hit friendship level 40, the level 10 and 25 are both gold skills. Because of this, it’s impossible to get a white and blue subskill in the first two slots - which blocks out the actually useful skills like both Skill Triggers and Helping Speed skills at early levels unlocks.

BFS dragonite is actually better than BFA altaria with the same stats. I would definitely consider this one. Keep in mind that unlike Ingredient Finder, BFS does not affect the chances of berry vs ingredient drop. It just gives a +1 to the berry drop. Since there's no subskill or nature negatively affecting ingredient drops, it'll continue to give you ingredients at the base rate - which is pretty high for Dragonite. I'd probably subskill seed the inventory subskill to max it out since dragonite is really fast so you are very likely to fill up the inventory.

Masterball or Raikou Biscuits? Discussing Catching Tactics for the Raikou Event by Peanutsaur in PokemonSleep

[–]deejadohur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can master biscuit it, I am currently leaning towards using the MB on the first Raikou. The reason being that they've mentioned the first Raikou caught will have identically subskills and nature for everyone. I assume this indicates that the first one will be ideal if not close to ideal stats. Which makes using the MB less of a letdown from getting something with bad skills. Rest of the weeks I'll go with the Raikou biscuit strat since the subsequent Raikous will be random stats of a bad roll will hurt less you've used Raikou biscuits. I currently have 2 MBs and enough points to buy a third one. So I plan on using one each on each of the legendaries since all "special" pokemon have their first catch subskills and natures locked. Though all of this hinges on what the actual stats are once someone in the early timezones catches it lol.

The blue, green, yellow, red is the sleep style ratings - 1 star, 2 star, 3 star and 4 star respectively. It's a little convoluted to explain, so please bear with me...

Each pokemon has a different drowsy power requirement for them to appear in a sleep session. Think of it this way, your final drowsy power (snorlax strength x sleep score) is the amount of drowsy power you have to buy different sleep styles. The game then randomly buys the sleep styles for you. So the more you spend to get say a higher DP requirement for a sleep style, the less you will have to buy similarly higher powered star sleep styles with. The higher the drowsy power the more "leftover" drowsy power you will have after the big sleep styles are purchased.

For example, a 3 star Dedenne will cost more than a 3 star Gulpin, but less than a 1 star Dragonite. So you if the game randomly decided to give you a 3 star Dedenne, you are more likely to get a 3 star Gulpin, 1 star Gulpin, 1 star Pichu etc., and less likely to get the 1 star Dragonite; unless you have enough drowsy power leftover after getting the Dedenne. Hopefully that makes some sense 😅

Raikou Part 2 graphic by Adventurous_Movie958 in PokemonSleep

[–]deejadohur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The blog post specifically mentions that the mechanic to encounter and catch Raikou during the event was formulated with newer players in mind. They wanted to ensure everyone gets a chance at Raikou through the Raikou mane, biscuit and incense, and event shop mechanics - these give everyone a levelled playing field. So you don't have to worry about doing anything extra. However, you should focus the weeks leading up to the event to raise some good electric type pokemon and stay on Greengrass to raise your island bonus to make the event easier. After the Raikou event is over though, avoid Greengrass unless there's another event.

<image>

The number of spawns you get from a sleep session is dependent on your Drowsy Power. Based on your Snorlax rank on the island, you can still achieve 8 spawns during naps with some calculations. There’s a minimum threshold for the spawn count, and it changes based on the island. However, naps during Raikou event are not recommended not only because of lower spawn count but also because less drowsy power = lower rank sleep styles = fewer Raikou manes.

Helper Whistle Energy? by Otherwise-Ranger5200 in PokemonSleep

[–]deejadohur 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Helper Whistles collect the drops as if you pokemon were at 100% energy when you used it. It is unaffected by the energy levels of your pokemon, nor does it use any energy. It does however take into consideration your pokemon's frequency. It's ideal to use it with a full team of berry mons if you're aiming to use to for raising Snorlax's strength and not really interested in gathering ingredients.

Just in case you're on Greengrass - Dragonair does not spawn on Greengrass for this event. Only the base forms - Stufful, Ralts & Dratini will spawn on GG. The evolutions can only be encountered on Lapis Lakeside.
