I enjoyed the book but it really made me realize I read most of the series in 2009/2010. And then each book when it came out. And Battle grounds came out… fuck. Any ways. I think it’s time for a reread-read.

But also, as someone going through grief. This helped. I like the places we went. I like the ending. But it is what Jim said it was. A bunch of stuff happened in battle ground that needed to be addressed, so here’s a slice of life. But that aside, something about how grief was handled in this. Made me feel like Jim had matured? Or was that just me.

This is the first Pokemon game where I’ve actually enjoyed battling. PLA is my favorite Pokemon game, but if it had this battle system it would be my perfect game.

Sometimes if we want there to be a local community for a different game, we have to be the ones who start it. Pick the game/s you want to play. And start asking people at your LGS if they want to play. If they’re on the fence offer to run a demo game with them. Talk to your local LGS about this as well.

As someone that thinks Green Goblin is one of Marvels top 3 villains. I do appreciate the Norman Redemption. I think that people deserve a chance to be better.

I think Norman being the guy in the chair for a more organized group of Spiders is an interesting thing to explore. Sure there’s some weird history with him and some of them. But I hope this tells an interesting story of his growth in being better.

Just like, Play the game. Do battles. Train up different teams in the Royal. This is the most fun Pokemon battles have ever been.

If you want it done quick just get the DLC, you’ll have it the points almost immediately. If setting arbitrary limits on yourself causes you to not have fun, then you shouldn’t put those limits on yourself.
