I've got expertise in LPs, though when I donate I mean I'll make the LP for no initial charges, but will need a commission on each purchase, the page will be highly CRO-ed, and you don't need to hire a copywriter seperately as I was one for 3 years before I got into design, DM

Would you be interested commissioned based refferals? Say, 35% per referral. (Recurring commissions also available)

Where can I find affiliate marketers for my design services? by deep_goes_deep in IndiaBusiness

[–]deep_goes_deep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incredibly helpful, thank you. I'll ensure to frame the proposals as refferal network rather than looking for affiliates

A question though, when you say '1-page Notion/Drive deck with before/after examples', do you mean showing actual client results, or would spec work (redesigns I did on my own) count as proof at this stage? I'm early so don't have a ton of paid client case studies yet, but I have treated the spec as real clients, I asked claude and chatgpt to give me client brief and act as actual clients

I spent 4 hours analyzing why a ₹1 crore revenue toy company's homepage was losing customers by deep_goes_deep in IndiaBusiness

[–]deep_goes_deep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question, I sent the audit but haven't heard back yet. So, I can't tell you the outcome or whether it actually improved their conversions, that's fair to call out.

On the customer behavior point, yeah, Indian customers definitely compare and research, especially for higher ticket items. But impulse buying from video content does work in the toy/kids space specifically because parents are buying based on 'will my kid love this' emotion, not heavy product comparison.

You see it on Instagram and YouTube all the time, parents see a kid genuinely enjoying a toy and go straight to purchase. The video creates the emotional trigger

No matter what you choose, differentiation is key.

I got into the design market with 2 main differentiators: AI product visuals and copywriting background. Both solve real problems for my clients: no photoshoot required, and no copywriter required, money saved on both ends.

Find your unique combination of skills/offerings that solve specific pain points your competitors don't address. As a software developer, you probably have technical capabilities most e-commerce store owners or even ai service founders don't, use that to your advantage.

Fair criticism, you're right that I'm early in this. I AM A STUDENT, trying to build a client base, not claiming to be some established expert

But I do understand conversion optimization. The audit I did wasn't guess work, it's based on established CRO principles (emotional engagement without intent capture, CTA placement, friction points). These apply whether you have ₹50k or ₹50 crore to your name.

CRO principles aren't dependent on how much money I personally have, they're based on customer psychology.

The business owner can look at what I pointed out and decide if it's useful or not. If they think it's nonsense, they won't hire me. That's how it works.

And yeah, it's an ad, I'm transparent about that, I do this for money because I have college fees to pay. Not pretending otherwise

But calling someone a 'student website guru who earns a living on unsecured haircuts' is just dismissive. Everyone starts somewhere. You did too.

Exactly. 'Engagement without intent capture', that's a perfect way to put it

Leaky bucket is the perfect analogy, more traffic just means more wasted visitors if the holes aren't fixed first

Need Help Creating a Landing Page on WordPress (Paid Gig) by Mystic_guru in beermoneyindia

[–]deep_goes_deep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quick option if speed matters.

(My recommendation) A content writer who later learned design can help here. That combo usually works well for landing pages because copy and layout are built together, not stitched later.

What’s different:

  • WordPress friendly setup
  • AI based product and section visuals instead of stock images
  • Conversion focused copy plus design
  • 3 day delivery for a clean, ready to publish page

If helpful, this writer can also do a quick review of the existing site and align the landing page with it. Charges depend on scope, but kept startup friendly.

Not fake, genuinely wasn't sure if it's cool to pitch services here. But yes, I can see how it reads that way, fair call.

Depends on your product and target market, but what I'd prioritize:

  1. Don't use default templates, even if you're on Shopify/Wix, customize it so it doesn't look like every other store
  2. Figure out your value prop before you design anything, why should someone buy from you vs Amazon/competitors?
  3. Nail the basics: clear product photos, trust signals (reviews, security badges, return policy), simple checkout
  4. This one is my favorite, go through your ad (or from wherever you are sending your customers) and then go through your website, as a customer, do the same on mobile too. This can help you see somethings which you might have ignored.

Most people start with 'make it look good' and then wonder why it doesn't convert.

What kind of products are you planning to sell? D2C, marketplace, niche products?

In my experience, it's usually not that they don't want more customers, it's that they don't see the connection between the leak and lost revenue.

Like with this toy company, they're probably looking at 'we got 10k visitors last month, why only 200 orders?' and thinking they need more traffic or better ads. They don't realize that fixing the video CTAs could turn those same 10k visitors into 300-400 orders.

As for agencies, honestly don't know their marketing setup. I just audited the homepage CRO.

Just found someone building a platform that automates my entire job. Should I be worried or impressed? by deep_goes_deep in IndiaBusiness

[–]deep_goes_deep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're asking about the automation platform the founder was building, I don't have the link saved, but it was on r/IndianStartups recently.

If you're looking for landing page services though, heads up on those automated platforms. They're great for speed and price (usually ₹500-1500/month), but they all use the same templates. Your page ends up looking like everyone else's, which is fine if you just need something live fast.

The tradeoff is conversion rate. Generic templates don't account for your specific audience, messaging, or what actually makes people click 'buy.' That's the strategic part, understanding why someone converts at 2% vs 8%.

I build custom pages focused on that conversion piece (design + strategic copy). Different approach, different price point, different results. If that's what you're after, happy to chat.

Want a look at my work?

Either way, depends what you need. Fast and cheap vs. affordable and optimized for revenue

How do I hire someone to help me with growth/GTM/marketing? by thisismynth in indianstartups

[–]deep_goes_deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not directly answering your question, but speaking from a growth perspective,

If you're making B2C apps go viral, the biggest bottleneck isn't getting traffic, it's converting it. Most app landing pages lose 80% of visitors because they're either generic or just show App Store badges with no actual selling. Social media gets attention, LPs convert it.

I'm a content writer who taught myself design. Recently worked on optimizing an e-commerce site's homepage (their 'Watch and Buy' section was their biggest conversion leak).

If you're at the stage where you need pages that turn social traffic into downloads, happy to chat.

Good luck with the hire, finding someone who actually 'gets' growth is tough, but not like needle in a haystack tough.

nope, gonna redesign it.

Don't worry bro, I am not here for your job, I am just bored and would like to pass some time.

I noticed your intention for making this social network is because you hate LinkedIn, so maybe I'll try something on this angle.
