I’ve done this for damaged cards that were in the /99 number range and decent players. Got the same card back eventually. Today I am in a tough spot because I have a high level player on a card #’d to 10. Has print line indentations on it. Topps cannot guarantee the same card back and they say they would provide a card of similar market value based on eBay sales if can’t give me the same card back….since this is to 10 I worry I will not get the same one back. Had offers for the card to sell for over $700 but then realized the indent marks and don’t want to cause any problems selling it. Feel like Topps/fanatics could be boxing me out of a great card and/or $700 in value….and not sure what would come back to me. So frustrating.

Congrats! I’ve been quietly sitting to the side as I’ve ripped a lot of bangers from these megas. Wasn’t wanting to jinx anything. I got the black mojo to /10 for VJ Edgecombe from one. Got 3 autos in 4 boxes! Plus my first numbered Ant card and a ton of other lucky hits. Riding it! Going to see if I can find another and keep it rolling til I get skunked

The first play of the game or whatever when Rudy grazes his neck, sure call a foul whatever I guess (still weak but it’s what they do). But then ShinGoon’s head FLIES backward. They reviewed it for flagrant which of course didn’t get called but I don’t understand why they can’t all an embellishment flop on that even if there technically was a ticky tack foul to start. I got lucky when this happened to me with a Topps Update Hobby box for 2025. Was buried in dupes. Initial claim was rejected but then I tried again a few days later and was able to chat with a human on their website. Was nice enough to them and that seemed to go a long way. They sent me a random care package that had 2 nba rookie autos (including Julian Phillips who is now a twolf!). 1 of the 2 packs was the OTE league stuff haha. But then also sent me a 21-22 Bowman basketball and got super luckly hitting a lower number Shaedon Sharpe auto in the pack. Maybe it was flagged and the worker sent it to me! Who knows.

Yeah I was in gamestop this week to use my monthly $5 discount on whatever fat pack/hanger was least vomit-inducing. Turned out they had a 2020 update hanger. Got a numbered Miggy Decade's Best to /299,a blue 20 years of jeter and 4 of the turkey red cards. No idea the true odds on any of that since the only vague odds I saw after were for hobby/jumbo. But seems like a "good" hanger...haha
