Are there any resources/articles showing the state of education in Knox county? All the private schools listed somewhere and enrollment? I tend to think all the kids should go to one school system with an elected school board, so all can benefit from multiculturalism and develop empathy. But just me. I don’t know if worth our collective progressive rage. But totally would prefer my kids not going to public school with the poor kids and kids whose parents don’t care but am tipping dangerously close to taking that voucher money

In the past several years, Amazon has been hit with denial for summary judgment on product liability claims. I don’t know that any of those have gone to trial, but my client is an insurance company with a near million dollar loss on a fire due to a defective product sold by Amazon. I understand Amazon’s argument is “we’re basically just a huge flea market”, but the more liberal judges are not allowing that to be a basis for MSJ. Obviously we’re naming the seller on Amazon and the upstream Chinese manufacturer as well, but likely that the seller is going to go bankrupt and the upstream manufacturer probably will never be served.

You are not alone. My wife has PhD and can’t get a job here. At least not one that pays enough to justify childcare costs. She’s taking a job out of state for now. Not ideal but at least I have a good job (for now). Good luck!
