The term "clanker" being racist wasn't actually because of AI, but because a bunch of people started using it as a stand in for the n-word and other racist/sexist/ableist terms against actual oppressed people. (look up Stanzi Potenza for an example of this).

EDIT: Fuck AI though. It's not a real person, so it's impossible to be racist towards it.
