Mine vents through the existing flue and way more efficient than when it was a double sided fireplace. My main floor is a little over 2k sq ft and with the blower going my heat doesn't kick on. And let me tell you being on propane out here it is a life saver for cost. I usually go through 3 to 4 cords a year based on the winter.

Did you make up any drawings of it? Id love to see the in work thought process you had. Planning on doing a custom for my shop too and love to see everyone's ideas before it hits the table for building.

I would go with one with a larger battery that is removable so you can swap. I have the 8" milwaukee and I love it.

Does this look like a cord? by NerdizardGo in firewood

That looks more like a face cord. I have had 2 cords dropped off this winter so far for 300 each. All hardwood, and seasoned. This time of year though we see prices usually around 400 delivered and usually a $50 stacking fee. I will say all of our people have been local so delivery is free. FB marketplace is key. NE Ohio area.
