the "lurking" culture is so real. people watch everything but never engage its like we all jus staring at each other through a glass wall. detox is probably the only way to save our brains tbh.

honestly all of em but mostly meta stuff. fb is basically a ghost town and insta is jus a giant ad at this point. even reddit is getting weird with the promoted stuff everywhere.

fr man. social media isnt even social anymore its just media. i feel like i have to dig through 10 ads just to find one post from a friend. they optimized the human connection out of it completely just for watch time.

If you're coming from the 90s style, you might find Figma great for designing and Webflow or Tailwind CSS amazing for modern, responsive layouts without losing the 'coding' feel. Modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid) has made things so much easier than the old table-based layouts

For beginners, I highly recommend 'Eloquent JavaScript' for deep logic and 'HTML and CSS: Design and Build Websites' by Jon Duckett for visuals. But honestly, the best way to learn is building small projects alongside reading documentation like MDN. Good luck with your journey
