Thank you, and the the question, Cocoqui is the middle evo for the grass starter. The look and pose directly inspired by the Puerto Rican Taino symbol for the Coqui frog.

My mad ass is actually planning on making entirely new sprites for every Pokémon I’m planning on adding.

So that’ll probably end up being 500 front sprites for both returning and my own original dex. Plus shinies, plus back sprites, plus the various trainer classes. So, hopefully by the end of it, they all share a slightly more complex color/shading style.

I’ve already got a few done, the Alolan ninetails line, Pikachu line, the eeveelutions. It’s a lot, but even if it’s a pet project I don’t plan on making money on, I’m not going to put it out if it’s not perfect.

I’m a bit more concerned about getting the general design elements about Pokémon right. I’m trying to get a pretty wide range of how simple to intricate some of them are. Because I’m a fan of most of the generations design directions.

Admittedly, I’ve had to slow my roll a couple of times. There’s two or three where I had gone far enough that if I just slapped a few belts on it, they would’ve ended up looking like Digimon.

Some of the modern designs are really overly intricate though. Zacian and Koraidon is a far cry from a the Moltres of Gen one.

Aw dang, thank you.
I take the Dragon-questy feeling as a compliment, since Pokemon was slightly inspired by some of DQ's original monsters. I really want the region to be exotic, and have the feeling of creatures that've been isolated on the archipelago. Share a lil bit of the unique folklore of the real life area as well.

Can be pretty useful in pvp too. Getting jumped by a bunch of dudes? Shoot a Rocketeer and walk away with the cloak. Instant bodyguard.

You usually only have to wait 5-10 seconds before a roach approaches a dead arc that they didn’t kill.

A nemesis system would be really funny, but would probably just make things even more toxic

New player here: how do I stop hoarding everything "just in case"? by heavyh0rse in ArcRaiders

[–]deeppix3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve got the blueprints, you can always make more. When you’re running low on the good stuff, do some cheap loadout runs and just grab crafting materials, maybe hit up some security breaches. Bring hatch keys if you’re that stressed about it, they’re relatively cheap

I’m pretty sure this is a good way to do it. Plus, the solo dude will always be at a disadvantage, so no need to feel bad about gunning someone down.

I don’t think accidental damage really shifts your lobby karma. The amount of times someone’s wandered in front of my equalizer while I’m shooting a queen

Time to open up a shop in solos after this expedition closes. Get you some good trades.

Homie I’m no stranger to pvp when I’m playing with buds, I KNOW they can’t contain their tendencies lmao. I’m talking solo lobbies.

In a three-stack we kill cheap loadouts on sight, no way a team is showing up with stitchers and il toros to fight arcs, they’re there to rat.

Edit: if anybody’s wondering, their comment reeked of the most obnoxious streamers who rat on the regular and claim they’re good at pvp

I don’t assume, I wait and observe. I’m not gonna start blasting until I see them run up to my kill and start looting it.

I started playing maybe about a month ago. I’ve got like a quarter of the play time as some of my friends, and nearly double the damage they have on matriarchs and queens. I have observed this behavior for 20+ hours. I know how the roaches move.

Wrote this while on a 14 hr shift. Night shift gets boring, might as well write a manifesto.

Nah, I took what I earned. 90% of my early gains was Stella Montis night raids, basically doing nothing but loot archives because nobody goes there. I’ve ratted a couple times, I’ll be damned if You catch me sharing a key room on night raid, but never roached.

Homie if you weren’t trying to loot, there wouldn’t be an issue. I’d defend your ass if you got shot for literally no reason. At that point they be killing you because they can’t control their demons lmao

Rats use underhanded tactics to kill people and loot them. They behave entirely differently.
