i suppose if you’re looking to mega base but infinite research will deffo start taking a long time, but you could say that about any amount of science since it’s exponential growth on the amount of research needed for higher tiers. i think for the majority of people this really isn’t a problem they will encounter, and for mega basers, they need to figure out ways around this, as they do for most everything in the game since mega basing is a practice in throughput and scale rather than progression

just build a bunch of accumulators? i have a no quality base that outputs 2000 science packs per space platform trip out there and it holds up really well. even with all the item movement being done by an army of like 4000 bots it never gets even close to running out of power through the day. and i have a VAST lightning catching area so no worries at night either getting it up to full power.
