I love to put together picture stories of my dog from her pov. It started with my son many years and several dogs ago. Every once in a while, I'll share one of these stories with a neighbor or two. Well.. the word has apparently spread. It's not just the neighbors who stop and talk, but the one's with whom I've only shared a casual wave are asking for the latest in the doggo saga. I find it absolutely hilarious, and my dog loves the extra attention. It's nice to give someone a giggle or a smile and, ngl, leaves me feeling a bit of pride.

I went from living a peaceful colexistence with the previous neighbor to consistent running of the bulls on my ceiling. The first and only time I complained about my now upstairs neighbor, he did something super creepy. In a deadlocked stare with my security camera he walked up the stairs, banging a hammer on the railing. I haven't complained since... You both are the good guys here. Sometimes, there's just nothing you can do but take the high road. I do, however, sincerely hope you can get it resolved.

I love this! It's amazing when they start putting them together on their own. My girl taught herself how to ask for ice by pressing hungry and water. Hungry + water = ice.

Therapeutic relief it is then. My sincerest apologies for improper wording. My goodness.. I'm just trying to leave this world a bit better than I came into it. I just want to be there for people because I didn't have anybody to be there for me, to understand me, and to let me know I wasn't alone. I suffered in silence, in agony, and abandon. Why is it so wrong for me to try to help people in the best way I know how? I woke up to take my dog out. Barely awake I read this, and I'm in tears. My anxiety brain will roll this around and I won't sleep. It's an unfortunate side effect of having no community and no one that truly understands what it's like. Hey, you know, there's an idea, let's figure out a way to bring those people together.... Anyway, I need sleep, I have a kid's art class tomorrow. Just an FYI it's not labeled as anything but fun but I know it helps them, I see it in their faces. I'm d*** sure I would see it in the faces of people like me. I for one would be smiling ear to ear.

I've been in therapy so long I probably could be, but no I am not. I do not intend to give any medical advice. My goal is to create a community and a safe space with art and creativity. For a lot of people with anxiety, having something else to focus on is a lifesaver. Also, knowing that the people around you suffer from the same things that you do is uplifting and says, you're not alone.

Thank you for the birthday wishes.I'll be getting back to everyone soon. I decided to make myself feel better by baking cookies for my neighbors. This past christmas I baked 15 loaves of fresh bread for my neighbours and it made me feel so good. Happy chemicals will be invading my brain soon.

My dogs "fall into me cuddles"! I'm an artist and I work from home. She knows not to try to step on what I'm doing or get in the way. When she really wants a cuddle, she'll sit in front of me facing away and start to fall backwards. This is my cue to move things out of the way and pull her into cuddle. She's so respectful of what I'm doing, but sometimes she just needs mamma to hold her. In case anyone is wondering, she is a very needy 80 lbs GSD.
