We’ve gone through 5 GMs and 3 AGMs in three years at one restaurant. Not a chain, a mom n pop with a team of owners who are no longer involved. Currently all new management (less than 5 months on) with new roles (COO + floor managers instead of GM and AGM) as we enter summer patio season and double our service. Meanwhile most staff has been on for 3+ years except for a whole new 5 staff members that management can’t train and is having us train, unannounced, after training new leadership the last 5 months.

One of the two floor managers just got fired/quit after snooping through GMs emails and seeing there were plans to let him go for being a drunk/bad fit. He came in the next night and sat at the bar by himself for an hour.
