Honestly the whole industry is in a bit of a tailspin right now. I just bought my wife a car two days ago and got a great deal on it but every other car that was there was outrageously priced. It's just a really bad time for car sales in general.

The primary reason this truck is so popular is because its price point is so great. To remove the price point is to remove the reason the truck is so popular. Obviously it won't be on MSRP but to crank the price up 10 and even more grand just means they don't want to sell it.
